Charlie Anderson update: after 3+ weeks of body paralysis with Guillain-Barre Syndrome, he tells us that he is progressing favorably, walking with a walker, but continued weakness of limbs. May 19th...Jim O'Hara visited Gator and said he is progressing with his strength. It will be a long process. We have every confidence that he will rebound to get back on the golf course!
Our Dr. Harold Baumgarten is still teaching about his D-Day experiences before coming to PBHS. Look for him in documentaries on the event. He is a retired pediatrician in northern Florida. He wishes to be remembered to you all.
NEED YOUR HELP!...Please go to the bottom of this home page, click "Missing". A list of our "lost" alums will appear. If you know the whereabouts or status of anyone, please use the "Contact Us" option on the toolbar to send your information. Thank you inadvance.
THEY ARE REMEMBERED...
On Jan. 8, 2012, we lost Daisy Joyce Yelverton Symons.
Georgia Ann Strickland English passed on Sept. 11th in Lee, FL.
Loretta Wells Griffin died Sept. 14 2011, while living in North Palm Beach.
One of our favorite teachers, Mrs. Garnet Sliker, passed away in WPB, age 92.
We have just learned that Marilyn Kapner Levin left us recently. The "Pensacola News Journal" has her obituary.
John J. McDonald, former principal of Central Jr. High, and PBHS, dean of PBCC, died this month, age 96, in Titusville, FL.
Here's a fun video of the 50's for you.

Kudos to Roger Lewis, who has passed the FL Bar exam and now can add LD to his MD. His second life is just beginning!
The Northboro Elementary, Jr. High buildings have been torn down and rebuilt. Although sad, the new facility is an honorable replacement!
A L E R T ! Our PBHS Museum in WPB is in need of maintenance funds. The dependancy of air-conditioning is crucial due to mold potential on all our memorabilia, as well as other upkeep. Won't you please send a check in any amount to: PBHS Historical Assn., PO Box 18456, WPB, FL 33416, marked for "Museum Donation". It is a non-profit org. and tax-deductible! Thank you.
Jean (Rosa) Urquhart will once again be maintaining our class directory. If you have any news about our alums, please let her know!
